Alscott Worrell (Director of Photography/Producer) is a writer/filmmaker originally from Virginia Beach, VA. Previously an education administrator, Alscott transitioned to a full time career in film. His love for writing introduced him to the many aspects of filmmaking, allowing him to serve in multiple capacities on the set of productions. Alscott has written, produced and starred in two original short films. He’s currently developing a series that focuses on the platonic and romantic relationships between Black queer men. Alscott resides in Los Angeles, CA. He continues to build his production company, 1990 Productions which covers production needs for all, focusing on LGBTQ+ content.

Michael-Anthony Souza (Assistant Director) is a creator living in Harlem. With a BFA in Drama from NYU, Michael-Anthony went on to perform abroad at the Old Vic in London and around the world as a lead vocalist with Royal Caribbean. After touring the country with TheatreworksUSA, he worked with NiteStar as a teaching artist. M.A. is dedicated to keeping children involved in the arts and directs full musicals each summer for teens. He is most interested in telling stories that explore the full human experience. He played Helena in Harrison David Rivers’ And She Would Stand Like This with the Movement Theatre Company. He was Associate Director on T. Adamson’s The Straights at the JACK theater in Brooklyn and most recently he joined the writing team at After-Image Theatre Company. Michael-Anthony’s willingness to question the mold and to find new and better ways of telling stories is a quality that leads him to the most inspiring projects.

Tola K. Lawal (2nd Assistant Director) is a Baltimore native by way of New Jersey. She is thrilled to be assisting with the production, “Not Looking,” and has high hopes that it will set the bar to give stories like it more visibility in the mainstream media world. Tola is an actress but has a few behind the scenes credits as well. Recently, her voice narrated the audiobook "Anxiety in Relationship 2.0," now available for purchase on Audiobook. Tola is passionate about language arts, working with children, and artistic collaboration. Her most recent acting credits include the role of Aubrey in John Wynn's Playhouse currently streaming at www.TheWynnNetwork.com, a short film titled Rich Soil premiering this month, and a web series episode feature titled “I thought this would be easier,” now available on Youtube. Tola currently has a Rakuten TV commercial running nation-wide. Upon receiving her MFA in Performance in 2019, she moved to Los Angeles where she currently resides. In her spare time Tola enjoys practicing and improving her polyglotism.

Pilin Anice (Yoga Consultant), an Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) with 500 hours of training/teaching, is a yoga, barre, dance, and meditation instructor, health coach, actress, and model. A Kripalu trained instructor, her breath centered offerings seek to bring the mind, body, and spirit into harmony and balance. She is the founder of Restore + Explore and has taught in the US and abroad, including the Omega Institute, 1440 Multiversity, Dubai Yoga Fest, and SoulFEST. A Howard University Alumna, she is a MIRROR Trainer and teacher at the Ailey Extension in NYC.
